As part of its mandate, the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment, an agency of Dubai Government’s Department of Economic Department, has created the official listing of events and promotions held in Dubai throughout the year. The Dubai Calendar, www.dubaicalendar.com highlights Dubai’s festivals, exhibitions, cultural and sporting events taking place throughout the year. The main objective of Dubai Calendar is to create a comprehensive information pool and an official point of reference on events and promotions in Dubai, and consequently keep business, travel and leisure visitors, and residents informed about the various events organised in Dubai for an enhanced experience in the emirate. The Dubai Calendar is the result of combined efforts of government entities that either organize, host, or grant permits for most of the events in Dubai. |

Dubai Events & Promotions Establishment, formerly known as the Dubai Shopping Festival Office, was established in 1996 to position Dubai as a global tourist, business, and leisure destination. It manages four products that focus on delivering the best in shopping promotions, family entertainment, and winning opportunities. These are the Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai Summer Surprises, ‘Eid in Dubai’, and the cartoon character, ‘Modhesh’.
